Design Premise
Sutter Day Architects brings the following beliefs to every project:
- Site Conditions. The design should be based upon existing site conditions that include contours, trees, drainage and natural resources.
- Building Materials. Wherever possible, build with materials that are provided locally and require no applied surfaces, reducing the number of trades or processes required during construction.
- Structural System. The design should be based on a structural system that works.
- Economy. Economy can be achieved through a well-defined program and simplicity of construction.
- Intended use. A building design should reflect the intended use and contribute to the surrounding area.
- Personal Attention. In fulfilling our professional commitments, we are dedicated to the concept that each client merits the personal attention of principals and staff.
